Work on the Hoko cd has languished for several months. It now appears that I will be working on it again in the near future.
We are currently working on digitizing some film footage for the project. I think we'll basically fill the remaining space on the CD with as much of this as will fit...
The Hoko River CD Project has basically been completed. We have a few extra artifacts here and there to add, but 98% of the final product is complete. You can view an up to date version via SPSCC's server. Note that the Hoko Project was designed to preserve photographic slides that would otherwise have faded away, so our focus was on image quality, not size. Therefor the images range from about 100K to 300K or so. A fast connection (or a patient disposition) is recommended. If you're really interested in the project, contact me as I will likely be able to provide you with a CD-ROM copy.
